DESCRIPTION:We learned late last week that the unspent FY2024 UASI grant funds (~$125\,000) has been retained by the Hampton Roads Planning District Commission (HRPDC). This funding will be used to cover their funding shortfall caused by the delay in FEMA issuing grant funding for FY2025.  \n\n\n\nAs a result of the loss of this funding opportunity\, we must postpone the planned 2026 Functional Exercise (FE) for the HRIMT. When the FY2025 UASI grant funds are released\, we will resume the planning process and establish a new date for the FE.
